Training review Weeks 3 through 5

Been a busy few weeks and the temperature has dropped to proper winter levels.
Swimming: Still feeling a little off the pace with this compared to 18 months ago, I'm sure it will come back , however, if im honest it isnt to much of the problem, a minute or two lost in the swim can easily made up in the bike.
I met up with my coach and we thrashed ot the race dates for this coming season, most clashes have been avoided and the cost of entries been kept to a manageable level. Just have to incorporate the time trialling dates which I will hopefully be going on in the background to keep the biking sharp, (well to get it sharp!).
I need to get the replacment Turbo trainer sorted in the next week or so, as i'm not going to maintain enthusiasm to stay out on the bike in the cold/rain/wind etc, even with the best kit in the world. The running distances are increasing and my legs are holding up pretty well, they are recovering well, and usaully by the end of the third week in gagging for the recovery week, which means that the increamental increases are pretty much where they should be.Next week will see the biggest week yet, so will be interesting to see how I cope with that.
