Week 51 The final run up week to Christmas has thankfully been a recovery week. Very welcome it has been too. The weather has been a little friendlier.
Saturday:
Various commitments meant I had to swap over the weekend workouts. The dogs had been pretty wired, so I took Ricki with me for the 60 minute trail run. He loved it and was thankfully asleep for the rest of the day.
Sunday
Recovery Swim, 40 minutes down at Carnbrea, totally forgot it was their Xmas do on the Saturday night so had to hang round waiting for the opening times. Aqua running was on the workout today, which is suprsingly hard work, I know how duck feel now.
Turbo: Lack of turbo at the moment meant that 30 minutes of leg spinning was done out in the real world.
Monday
of course was a rest day
Tuesday
Early easy run, followed by a late morning swim.
Wednesday
saw an afternoon session of strength training in my gym/stable followed by an easy 4 mile run.
Thursday
Turbo replacment session in the real world. spinning the legs with a few variations. Christmas week beckons will be interesting to see how i get on with training and the christmas family lockdown.
